WHY SPONSOR?

After a successful inaugural year, the Future of Museums Summit is back in 2024 for an even more interactive experience to help museum professionals plan for a brighter future. By sponsoring the Summit, you’re signaling to the field that your brand will be there to help them prepare for the challenges and opportunities to come. A limited number of sponsorships are available for this virtual event that draws hundreds of museum professionals from across the United States and globally.

WHO ATTENDS?

In 2023, over 800 attendees participated in the Future of Museums Summit. Here are a few data points on who attended:

  • In terms of tenure, 32% of attendees were executive level, 26% were established, 25% were mid-career, and 9% were students or entry-level professionals.
  • 20% of attendees in 2023 were CEOs/Executive Directors.
  • 90% of attendees in 2023 were based in the United States, and 10% were based outside the U.S. with 18 countries represented.
  • Just over 50% of attendees have never attended an AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo. If you have already sponsored or exhibited at the Annual Meeting, the Summit will provide you with a brand new audience with which to engage.
